Cancellation Policy:

We have a 5-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to your scheduled tour will receive a full refund. Reservations may be changed by calling 855-386-9477; however, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or reschedules made within 5 days of your tour date. Reservations are transferable and may be given or sold to another person for the same date and time.

Changes to Weather:

Tours operate in cold or mild rainy weather. However, Shawnee Bluffs management may cancel tours due to excessively high winds, heavy rain, thunder or lightning. If a tour is cancelled by management, you will receive a full refund or a rain check — your choice.

We reserve the right to delay or pause a tour for up to one hour due to inclement weather and then resume when conditions are safe. If a tour is cancelled after it has begun, a partial tour voucher may be issued for use on a future tour reservation.

Late Arrivals:

Guests are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. Tours depart promptly as scheduled.

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals. If you miss your canopy tour appointment, the full tour fee will still apply, as we incur the same operating expenses and may have turned away other guests to reserve your space.

  • Please remember that we maintain a 5-day cancellation policy.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather. Tours operate in rain and cold conditions.
  • Do not assume a tour is cancelled unless you receive direct communication from Shawnee Bluffs.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. On warm days, shorts and t-shirts are recommended.
  • All participants must wear closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes are ideal).
  • Long hair must be securely tied back.
  • Cell phones and personal cameras are not permitted on the tour. Our guides will take pictures for you.
  • Participants under the age of 18 who will not be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian must bring a completed and signed minor waiver from their parent or legal guardian.
  • All participants must weigh between 50 and 270 pounds, be a minimum of 8 years old, must be in reasonably good health, and must not be pregnant.
  • Shawnee Bluffs is a tobacco-free and smoke-free property.
  • Shawnee Bluffs is an alcohol-free property.
